Ohio’s Employee Owned Network

Establishing an employee owned firm or company is only the beginning. Employee owned companies face a unique and ongoing set of challenges. These include building a corporate culture of ownership, mastering the technical elements of their form of ownership, and creating a new way of looking at work.

Our Mission

Ohio’s Employee-Owned Network’s mission is to provide a forum for employee-owned businesses and others to learn from each other how to make employee ownership work more effectively at your companies; and to address the unique challenges and potential of employee ownership.

Ohio’s Employee Owned Network members jointly-sponsor a year-round series of education and multi company programs. Members enjoy group rates and discounts on program registrations; and non-members among the employee owned business community are welcome to participate in most of the Network’s programs.

Other benefits of Network membership include:  consultation with OEOC staffers, at no additional fee, on ESOP-related issues and challenges; and discounts on in-company education and training programs.

Our Network

The Ohio Employee Owned Network offers programs which:

  • Build employee involvement skills
  • Bring employee owners together to explore common problems and share experiences in dealing with ESOP administrative and HR issues
  • Bring multiple companies together to provide lower cost workshops and seminars to Network members

The Network is member-directed and reflects a broad spectrum of business and industry from all over Ohio, as well as several other states. Throughout they year the OEOC hosts multiple programs designed assist our network members. At the Annual Conference, members chart the direction for future Network projects to meet members’ changing needs.
