Communications and Culture

The research is extensive, and increasingly without controversy - employee-ownership by itself will not increase employee satisfaction, motivation and performance, it must be combined with an ownership culture that generates value for the company, wealth for employees, and quality of life in our communities. We offer multiple programs throughout the year to help build and maintain an ownership culture.

2021 Communication Virtual Check-ins and Roundtables

Our Check-ins and Roundtables are designed to convene a group of your peers to discuss your communications challenges  and exchange ideas within an "open forum" structure as we move beyond uncertain times and into recovery.

In-Person Roundtables

We will be hosting an in-person HR Roundtable at our December 8th, 2021, Southwest Employee Ownership Forum. Cost of roundtable is included in SW Forum registration rate.

Virtual Communications Check-Ins

45 minute lunch time sessions where you can discuss with OEOC staff, and your peers, communication and culture issues, ideas and more.

Members of Ohio's Employee Owned Network - FREE - Register by RSVP'ing to oeoc@kent.edu; Zoom Instructions will be sent out to registrants 48 hours in advance of each session.

Non-Members - $50 per person - Register by clicking the registration link next to the session you intend on attending. Zoom Instructions will be sent out to registrants 48 hours in advance of each session.

Roundtables

Will we have an in-person HR Roundtable as part of the SW Ohio Employee Ownership Forum on December 8th, in Dayton OH.

Communications Committee Tune-up

This program will provide you with best practices, and overview and what works and what doesn't, as well as an opportunity to network with fellow employee-owners serving on your communications committees in other employee-owned companies.
