Each year the OEOC’s Annual Conference features an eclectic and interesting mix of featured speakers, 20-plus breakout sessions, and plenty of networking opportunities - and more - for management and leaders of employee-owned companies, rank and file employee owners, business owners interested in selling to their employees, and anyone interested in employee ownership.
We will continue to deliver the same mix of content at this years conference. To maximize engagement and networking opportunities, as well as minimize the virtual fatigue that comes with day long conferences, we will carry out this year's conference over the course of 3 half days. Each half day will focus on a particular topic area and include a mix of recorded and live content, live roundtables, and opportunities for one-on-one meetings with attendees and our expert presenters.
To ensure the health and safety of the employee ownership community, the 35th Annual Ohio Employee Ownership Conference will be run as a 100% online virtual conference over the course of 3 half days.
For the past 34 years the Ohio Employee Ownership Center has hosted an annual conference that provides a one of a kind educational experience for existing and prospective employee owned companies - this is year is no different!! Like past conferences, this year's conference sessions cover a wide range of issues relevant to employee owners and their companies - whether you are an employee owner, manager, business owner interested in selling to your employees, service provider, or an economic development practitioner the annual conference is a great opportunity to learn from your peers. Taking into account the safety and needs of the community we have made important changes to the structure of the conference.

To maximize engagement and networking opportunities, as well as minimize the fatigue that comes with day long virtual conferences, this year's conference will take place over the course of 3 half days with each half day's sessions arranged by subject. Each day’s programming will be designed to maximize live interaction, networking, and learning from your peers and our expert presenters.
The 2021 conference will include concurrent interactive sessions on everything employee ownership that run from morning until noon. Topic areas will be organized across the 3 days in the following way:
Day 1 - Wednesday, May 5th
Day 2 - Thursday, May 6th
Day 3 - Friday, May 7th
In addition we will be celebrating employee ownership excellence with our Annual Ohio Employee Ownership Awards, including the John Logue Employee Ownership Award, ESOP Company Milestone Awards, and more.
