At the OEOC, we believe that sharing financial information—and equipping employees with the knowledge to understand and influence it—is one of the most direct paths to building a high-performing ownership culture.
Over the years, we’ve been fortunate to host The Great Game of Business® (GGOB) in Ohio at events like our annual conference, where they’ve shared their expertise in teaching employees how to think and act like owners. We’ve also heard from many employee-owned companies in our network who areeager to learn more about the Great Game programs.
We’re pleased to announce that OEOC has partnered with GGOB to bring their half-day Basic Financial Literacy Workshop to the Columbus area for our network of employee-owned companies and other companies interested in providing their people with the tools to understand how their company works.

“The Great Game of Business makes everyone feel part of something bigger and brings us together more like family. I love that people care about overall profitability and finding places to save money. For me personally, it’s added many responsibilities to discover opportunities that increase margins and revenue.”
- Billy Carter, IntrustIT, Ohio-based 100% ESOP Company
“GGOB has opened my mind to a new way of thinking! I love the transparency into the core of the company. Most companies do not allow their employees to know what goes on behind the closed door of managing a business. This goes to show the meaning for the company's values.”
- Krystal Moncayo, Kiolbassa Smoked Meats
“GGOB has impacted everyone in such a positive way. I know employees that take what they have learned in our GGOB meetings and use it in their daily life. For example, their own financials. MiniGames bring all the employees together. Everyone is interactive and works as a team to accomplish these goals we set for our company."
