The OEOC can provide a wide variety of training and education programs that fit virtually any training need you may have and if you become a Member Company of the OEOC’s Employee-Owned Network you receive special discounts and access to all our training and educational programming.

"Off-the-Shelf" training programs

OEOC Flat Rate Training Program Yep, we understand that’s not most scintillating name, but it’s a great program. It provides an opportunity for you to bring a proven set of OEOC training programs to your company, and your employee owners, at a simple, no-muss and no-fuss flat rate price that includes everything. As always, member companies of Ohio’s Employee Owned Network receive further discounts on the rate. There are some moving parts to the program, and you can learn more about the details here.

Online Employee Owner Training Program – An online resource for you and your employee-owned company. Via a series of new, interactive, and on-demand online training modules  you will be able to fulfill education and training efforts for your employee owners. The initial series of self-directed modules will provide basic ESOP education (ABCs of ESOPs, the Basics of Business Terminology and Concepts, and more). New modules will added periodically as they are created.

Multi-Company Training EventsDesigned for the member companies of Ohio’s Employee Owned Network, the OEOC host a number of training and education events throughout the year.

Customized In-company Training Programs

The OEOC can also design a custom training and education program built around your specific needs. All training and programing can be structured for ESOPs and worker owned cooperatives.

Modules/Activities can include:

  • The OEOC’s ESOP Game – The most popular training module we have; takes participants through 3 years in the life of a fictional ESOP Company. The game teaches ESOP mechanics, the basics of financial info, teamwork and more.
  • The ABCs of ESOPs – This session is in an interactive lecture format that can be structured to fit your needs, both in terms of time/depth, and topics covered.
  • Teamwork Training/Team Problem Solving – This is an interactive exercise guaranteed to tech employee owners new tools and strategies for working together towards a common goal.
  • Basics of Financial Information for Employee Owners – It is not enough to provide your employee owners with the information on how the company is performing; you need to provide the ability to understand the information as well. We can help!
  • Communications Program Rollouts – Are you interested in creating a from-scratch communications strategy for your company? The OEOC can help you create a program that works.
