An Introduction to Farm Succession Planning

Presented by the Ohio Employee Ownership Center at Kent State University, and Braintree Business Development Center

A workshop for farmers and other small family businesses that want to explore transferring ownership to the next generation. This workshop will be offered three times this Fall in three different regions of the state of Ohio. Our facilitators are Bob Cohen of the Braintree Business Development Center, Chris Cooper of the Cooperative Development Center at Kent State University, and Edward R. Klesack, CLU, LUTCF, MBA, RFC of Centaurus Financial, Inc., (Member FINRA and SIPCE).

·                 What timetable makes sense for succession planning?

This workshop will also be of interest to business and financial consultants, bankers and economic development professionals
